Spring Break 2011

It is offically spring break! And while most students from school are preparing to go to Italy and Greece or are already in Belize, I am preparing for a spring break full of long days sleeping and even longer days spent with my fam jam. On the plus side, everything outside my window is coated in a layer of untouched snow and it is making me really happy. The view outside my front window reminds me of something out of a sappy romance movie where two people fall in love but can't be together and then they decided to be together despite her familys lothing for his and his betrothal to some other girl. And they get married and live hapily ever after cut off from thier friends and family. I'm a bit of a sap.

Last Night...

Tonight is the last show for The Sound of Music. It is bitter sweet for me. On one hand I am really sad that we are finished the show, there have been some really good times and I have made friends with people who I would never have made freinds with in the first place. For all the times we spent on memorizing lines and singing songs that will forever be stuck in our heads (how do you solve a problem like Maria?...) and going over the same scene a thousand times just to get one line right or stand in the right place, for all the nights where we didnt get hime till late and crashed when our heads hit the pillow we got memories that will last a life time (dancing out side during intermission, photo bombing pictures, dancing around like fools in costumes, singing to Mama Mia! in the green room...) But I'm also so glad that I get to sleep.
So Final preformance, prepare to have your socks rocked!

So I just signed up for a YouTube account. It will probably go the same way everythign else I sign up for goes...I'll forget about it and it will get deleted or something like that and then, months later I will decided that I should check on it or I'm going to so something on it and then it has vanished or I can't log in. Just thought I would let the few people that read this know... The user name is foolishmortal83. Its a Skahespeare nod.
In other news the Sound Of Music is going well. I can't believe that we open in 3 days! It doesn't seem like we are ready at all! But I know we will pull it together and it will be awesome and epic and wonderful! We had a thing in the Calgary Herald written about it.
