I recently found out that I got accepted to the university I wanted to go to and now I have to fill out a bunch for forms and stuff (yuck). And so I decided to do that this afternoon and as I am working on them I realize that I get distracted really really easily. So this is a list of ten things (in no particular order) that have distracted me from filling out my forms in the last hour alone.
1. Facebook. having to fill out and submit forms online is not the best idea to begin with. But for someone like me who gets really distracted its the worst possible thing. I realized that I log on, see what is new, if anything, and then log off again only to do it an hour later again.
2. Reddit. This is probably the worst because it changes all the time. And so I can go on, check a few pages, fill out a few things and then ten minutes later go on again and its all new.
3. Cat. Never mind the fact that he generally gets ignored, when filling out things the cat is the best distraction.
4. Narwhals and Beaver Tails. I hate to say it, but right now I have two tabs open, one of them is a thing I need to read. The other is my residence application.
5. My blackberry. Stupid phone with awesome games.
6. Dinner. This one kind of doesn't count, but it did take me away from filling out my forms so I am going to keep it here.
7. Errands. Any time anyone mentions going somewhere I jump at the chance to stop filling out forms. At this point I think I would even jump at the chance to go to Telkwa...things are bad.
8. Apples. I think I have had four in the last hour alone. I have to get up to get one. I can't eat at the computer. And then I have to throw them out. Depending on how fast I eat them I could get almost 5 minutes of not filling out applications.
9. Sister. It is amazing how many excuses I can find to talk to my sister in order not to fill out forms.
10. Plant fundraiser. This is for my band trip (so let me know if you want to order some) and admittedly I haven't done this yet, but I am going to call some family people as soon as I am done this to beg them to support me....and not have to do form filling out.
So there you have it. YouTube could also be included, because I do keep changing the song I am listening (the only way to fill out forms is to listen to country. The Band Perry and Sugarland are preferable).

Procrastination
I am a procrastinator. And I am writing a book. And I have just banged my head on the wall for choosing to write a book for my senior project.
Right now I am at the point where I really really have to start writing so that I can have my book done on time and not fail life.
But I'm not doing that because I spend my time sitting at the computer not writing and instead I watch YouTube videos that I have already seen, look at every site that is connected to failblog.com never mind that most of them don't interest me and look at endless random pictures and videos on iwastesomuchtime.com. I know that I should probably be writing but I can't force myself to do it.
And when I have exhausted every other possibility, I blog.

Merry Christmas!
Sorry for not posting in...forever. I've been busy playing Lego Harry Potter on my iPad. If you expect to get anything done ever don't get that game. It's kind of addicting.
In my family for Christmas we do a gift exchange. Each person picks a name and then gets a gift for that person. No one in my family is creative though so you a pretty much guarantee to get something that you write on your list. I got my brother and has his present wrapped at the beginning of November.I consider this an accomplishment because I am usually the person that leaves everything to the last minute...if it gets done at all (take every English assignment that I've been assigned...or my senior project for example). However it was the rest of my family that left Christmas shopping to the last minute. On Thursday night my dad and brother were getting presents. My brother had to go book shopping at indigo...something he should not ever have to do alone. My dad got some DS games at Zellers...it was very difficult for him to find 'Zooty Coon'. It wasn't until I told him that the game was called Zoo Tycoon that he figured out what game it was.
Then this morning my sister comes up to me as I am cleaning the basement and says 'do you know who everyone has for Christmas?" and I nod. 'Ok so you know I have you, right? where can I find the 'How I Met Your Mother' DVDs you want?"
*face palm* Did i mention we are opening presents tonight? Talk about leaving it to the last minute.
Half the fun of the gift exchange is trying to figure out who everyone has. when you do it's exciting come Christmas present opening time seeing if you are right or not. I was right and count this among the few times I am right about name draws.

Google Meme game
WELCOME TO THE END OF NOVEMBER!
So in my last post I said I wasnt going to post in November because of NaNoWriMo. I will jsut tell you that the novel was not written and I spent the whole month playing on my iPad. And even if it did get done no one is allowed to read it until I am done with it.
So what I did for the welcome back post is the Google Verb! Meme game. It's from a while ago so you may or may not know what it is. If you don't, click this --> derp!
So here is my google verb meme.
E needs a skatepark. the problem with having a name that is the same as a city...you end up with skateparks, regardless of the fact that you cannot skateboard.
...Wants to inspire kids to stand against cancer. Yes, I do.
...Does mean 'At The Time' in Italian. Aside from the fact that this is a super awkward sentance, its an interesting fact.
...Hates spam. No, I actually love it. It really makes my day when I see 'Hey Elora, meet hot singles in your area!' all over my inbox...it actually doesn't, hard to believe, I know. Oh man, I need a scarcasm font.
...Asks Sandra & Luke what birds are native to Canada The first part of this is 'Cameron from Elora asks...' I dont actually care what birds are native to Canada.
...Likes cute things. Cute things. CUTE THINGS! Not something awesome like Harry Potter. No cute things.
...Eats the camera. This is actually a video result. Maybe this is the cute thing I love. Interstingly enough, there are many Elora videos.

...Was arrested for swimming with dolphins. This is in referance to the documentary 'The Cove' in which people save dolphins. I have seen it and thought it was really well done. If you are interested in seeing it the entire thing is on YouTube in parts. I highly reccomend it. Then to lift your spirits watch 'A Very Potter Musical.'
...Loves Spyro. I don't know why, but there are a lot of things that go with my name and the game Spyro. I have never played it, no do I have the deisre, but a part of me wonders what my name has to do with it.
